Small businesses are not getting the most from their broadband provider, TalkTalk Business has claimed.
Charles Bligh, Managing Director of the service provider, claimed UK companies deserve better in terms of connectivity solutions.
He said that too many firms are experiencing problems with their broadband connections, or paying over the odds for a reliable line.
Mr Bligh was commenting after a TalkTalk Business study revealed 59 per cent of companies are experiencing problems with their broadband provider.
Just 53 per cent of those surveyed felt they were getting good value for money from their operator.
TalkTalk Business found that over a quarter of small business owners are confused about the best package for their needs.
More than one in five said they are looking to switch broadband providers imminently.
"The research tells us loud and clear that Britain’s businesses deserve better, and we couldn’t agree more," Mr Bligh stated.
“Every business understands the benefits of fast, reliable, business-grade broadband, but few realise you don’t have to pay above the odds for it."
He said TalkTalk Business' goal is to make UK companies better off.
"If you’re a small business owner and honestly don’t feel that your provider has your best interests at heart; that they understand your needs and are committed to your growth, you are being underserved," Mr Bligh added.
He said the message to small businesses is clear - that there is always a choice.
