Vodafone UK customers now have the opportunity to use their mobile broadband data allowance in 23 countries around the world.

Subscribers taking out one of the firm's 'Red' 4G packages - which offer between 3GB and 20GB of data per month - will be able to use mobile broadband abroad if they also adopt a EuroTraveller or WorldTraveller bolt-on.

For £3 per day, EuroTraveller allows Vodafone customers to use their UK minutes, texts and data in a host of European countries, including Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.

For £5 per day, WorldTraveller enables subscribers to do the same in countries such as Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore and the US.

Cindy Rose, Vodafone UK’s Head of Consumer, said the operator's UK customers now have 4G access in more countries than ever before.

"We are really excited to be able to offer our thousands of customers travelling around the world, whether on business or for fun, an even better 4G experience," she stated.
