TalkTalk has launched a new broadband deal, giving UK households the chance to save money in the run-up to Christmas.
The service provider is running a half-price offer on its Essentials TV and Plus TV packages, allowing new customers to take advantage of a 50 per cent discount for 12 months.
TalkTalk Essentials TV - which offers high-speed broadband, evening and weekend calls, a YouView set-top box and a free router - is currently priced at £4.25 per month plus line rental for a year, rising to £8.50 per month plus line rental thereafter.
The higher-tier Plus TV package - which comes with broadband, anytime calls and a larger YouView box capable of recording and storing content - costs £9.25 per month plus line rental for the first 12 months.
From December, Plus TV subscribers will also be able to take advantage of free mobile SIM services, as they receive 100 minutes, 250 texts and 200Mb of data a month.
According to TalkTalk, this makes Plus TV "the best-value and easiest way for customers to get all of their household communications from one provider".
"Plus TV also includes seven Sky entertainment channels, including Sky 1, Sky Living and Sky Sports News HQ, and the ability to pause, rewind and record live TV through a YouView+ box," the service provider stated.
Consumers signing up for TalkTalk Essentials TV or Plus TV this week - up until Monday November 10th - can also enjoy free Sky Movies for a month.
The offer - which extends to existing TalkTalk customers - gives subscribers access to live and on-demand film content via the Sky Movies Boost.
Viewers can choose from 11 Sky Movies channels and hundreds of blockbuster movies on-demand.
