Virgin Media is giving consumers the chance to save money on its range of dual-play broadband and home phone packages.
For a limited time only, eight-month introductory discounts are available on its up to 50Mb and up to 100Mb home phone and broadband deals.
The entry-level package - Virgin Media 50Mb Broadband & Phone - is currently priced at £4 per month plus line rental for the first eight months of a 12-month contract.
After the expiry of the introductory offer period, the price increases to £17.50 per month plus line rental.
The package offers unlimited downloads, a free wireless broadband router and a free installation worth £49.95. In terms of phone services, it includes weekend calls to UK landlines and Virgin Mobile numbers.
The offer is available to new customers who sign up online.
For consumers seeking faster speeds, Virgin Media 100Mb Broadband & Phone is priced at an initial £9 per month plus line rental.
After eight months of an 18-month contract, the price reverts to £22.50 per month plus line rental.
The package offers download speeds of up to 100Mb, unlimited downloads, a free Super Hub and free installation.
As with the 50Mb tariff, the broadband deal includes anytime calls to UK landlines and Virgin Mobile numbers.
Subscribers can also download Virgin Media's SmartCall app, which allows them to use home phone minutes on mobile devices over a Wi-Fi connection.
These calls can be made even when abroad, allowing subscribers to make the most of their inclusive landline minutes.
