Virgin Media news

New Virgin Media subscribers can now get their hands on a £100 voucher of their choice when they sign up for a triple-play bundle.

The cable broadband provider is offering John Lewis, M&S, iTunes and Amazon gift certificates to new customers who sign up in the next four days.

Consumers who sign up by April 28th can pick one of the rewards, to go alongside their discount broadband deal.

Virgin Media is offering the deal across its range of broadband bundles, applying to both entry-level packages and premium deals.

The most affordable option is the Big Easy bundle, which offers up to 50Mb unlimited broadband, a free Super Hub router, free installation, weekend calls to UK landlines and Virgin Mobile numbers, and a TiVo set-top box.

Customers can watch more than 60 channels, ten of which are available in HD, and take advantage of on-demand viewing options by connecting their broadband router and TiVo.

For the first 12 months of their 18-month deal, Big Easy subscribers pay £12.99 per month plus line rental. This rises to £22 per month plus line rental after the first year.

One of the higher-end options for new Virgin Media customers is the Big Kahuna broadband bundle, which offers a range of premium internet and TV services, along with weekend calls.

Customers can download at speeds of up to 152Mb, with no usage allowance to worry about, and they can tune into more than 230 TV channels.

As well as having 46 HD channels to choose from, and 16 Sky-branded channels, Big Kahuna customers can watch Barclays Premier League football, Aviva Premiership rugby union and a host of other sports on BT Sport.

As with the Big Easy, customers receive a free SuperHub wireless router, a free installation and a £100 voucher reward of their choice.

The Big Kahuna costs £32.99 per month plus line rental for 12 months, rising to £49 per month plus line rental thereafter.
