WWE will present its latest pay-per-view event this Sunday night (May 17th), with a fatal fourway match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship headlining proceedings.
After defeating Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns in an impromptu triple threat match at Wrestlemania 31, Seth Rollins has been targeted by a plethora of superstars across the roster, and will have to face three of them at Payback.
As well as Randy Orton, who defeated Rollins in an early match at Wrestlemania before the Money in the Bank cash-in took place, the champion will also have to contend with his former Shield stablemates, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.
Reigns is still smarting from having his big moment scuppered in the Mania main event, and will be keen for revenge, though the wildcard in the bunch could be the so-called 'lunatic fringe', Dean Ambrose, who feels he has unfinished business with Rollins following their feud last autumn.
Elsewhere on the card, United States champion John Cena will put his title on the line against Rusev in the fourth match of their series, which began back at Fast Lane in February.
The tag team championship will also be up for grabs, with The New Day facing Cesaro and Tyson Kidd in a 2 out of 3 falls match to determine who will walk into the Elimination Chamber match on May 31st with the gold.
New King of the Ring and Preston native Bad News Barrett will also be competing, taking on high-flying Geordie Neville in an all-English affair, while Ireland's Sheamus will be keen to demonstrate more of his new-found mean streak as he battles the show-off Dolph Ziggler.
Bray Wyatt is back after his defeat to The Undertaker at Wrestlemania and will face off against Ryback following weeks of cryptic promos, while Divas champion Nikki Bella will team with her twin sister Brie in an attempt to neutralise the threat posed by new allies Naomi and Tamina Snuka. WWE Payback is live on Sky Box Office at 1am on the night of Sunday May 17th, with replays available every three hours for seven days after the event.
