TalkTalk has thrown its hat in the ring when it comes to live Barclays Premier League coverage, unveiling a new Sky Sports Season ticket for its TV customers.
The provider claims the package will be available for just £11 a month and £99 for nine months, giving access to 108 Premier League games, working out at a price of just 36p a day or 92p per match.
Subscribers to the new nine-month package will enjoy six Sky Sports channels, which along with Premier League coverage will also show games from across the Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two.
When the season is over, viewers can switch off the Season Ticket to save money.
Football is just one sport offered as part of the package, lining up alongside live coverage of Formula One, the Ashes test series, international rugby union and the US Open.
All of the action is available to TalkTalk customers from August 23rd, with customers set to pay £11 per month, on top of the cost of a TalkTalk TV package.
TalkTalk claims customers stand to make substantial savings compared to subscribers on rival providers, with the service yielding savings of £191.16 compared to Virgin Media, £216 compared to BT, and £220.50 compared to Sky.
As well as this latest offer TalkTalk will also continue to run its monthly Sky Sports Boost service, which gives viewers the chance to receive sports coverage at any time with no ongoing commitment.
