Virgin Media news

Virgin Media has launched a new deal offering its 50mbps unlimited fibre broadband and home phone bundle for £5 a month.

The deal, which is subject to a 12-month contract and line rental of £16.99 a month, comes with a number of extras for new customers.

Subscribers to the bundle will receive unlimited weekend calls to landlines and Virgin Mobile numbers, a free Virgin Media Super Hub and free QuickStart installation worth £49.95.

Meanwhile, unlimited usage means users can download and browse as much as they like without the fear of any extra hidden charges.

Virgin Media has also moved to boost peace of mind though the inclusion of Web Safe, which works on the customer's home network to protect users from inappropriate content or malicious websites.

If a connection speed of 50mbps is not enough for some users, there is also the option of upgrading to Virgin Media's 100mbps package, which it claims is nine times faster than regular broadband, for £10 a month.

Customers will need to act fast, however, as the new offer ends this Sunday, August 23rd.
