BT has brought back its £5 deal, offering customers unlimited broadband and weekend calls for a set monthly price.

The deal, which is subject to line rental of £17.99 and lasts for 12 months, gives subscribers an unlimited 17Mbps connection and free weekend calls, and could also catch the eye of sports fans.

One of the main features of the package is the company's BT Sport Lite bundle, which offers BT Sport 1 free of charge.

Customers signing up can catch BT Sport's coverage of the Barclays Premier League, SPFL football and Aviva Premiership rugby online and on mobile or tablet through the BT Sport iOS and Android apps.

Other perks of the offer, which ends on September 9th, include a free Home Hub 4 wireless router and a £50 Sainsbury's Gift card, while there is also no connection fee for new customers.
