Plusnet news

Plusnet has announced it is to close its sister provider Madasafish on December 15th.

Following BT's purchase of the Brightview group, Madasafish was subsequently merged with Plusnet back in 2007 and has, despite many challenges, managed to keep a place in the market ever since.

However, a notice issued by Plusnet to customers has confirmed the company will cease services at the end of the year.

The letter to Madasafish customers, signed by Plusnet's Chief Operating Officer David Leather, read: "Over the last eight years you’ve benefited from our award-winning customer service and now we also want to make sure you’re getting the best value for money and access to our latest products and packages.

"That’s why we’ve made the decision to close Madasafish and give you, our valued customer, an easy, no hassle option to transfer your service to Plusnet."

It added that customers should assess their options by calling 0800 731 7508, while those using Madasafish email addresses are urged to get in contact as soon as possible.
