Plusnet news

Plusnet has launched a deal giving customers the chance to take out its 17Mbps broadband for £2.50 a month, with unlimited downloads.

The Yorkshire-based telecoms provider is offering consumers who take out a 12-month contract the chance to receive the company's broadband with no activation fee, which usually costs £25, when they sign up online.

New customers will also receive a free router and free UK-based customer support with the package, which is subject to monthly line rental of 16.99.

Those who sign up can also currently receive £50 cashback when they commit to a 12-month contract.

Alternatively, those opting for faster speeds can choose the company's fibre service, which offers up to 76mbps broadband with unlimited downloads for £5 for the first six months of an 18-month contract, rising to £10 a month thereafter.
