wwe night of champions 2015

Every title in the WWE will be up for grabs when the superstars collide at the Night of Champions pay-per-view next Sunday (September 20th).

The main event will feature WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defending the most coveted belt in professional wrestling against the legendary Sting.

Sting has been the world champion on multiple occasions, having captured the WCW title six times, the NWA championship twice and the TNA title four times, but the one piece of gold missing from his collection is the top title in the WWE.

At Night of Champions, he will have the opportunity to complete the set in just his second match in the WWE, following his clash with Triple H at Wrestlemania 31, and will be a heavy favourite as the match will actually be Rollins' second contest of the night.

Earlier in the evening, the so-called architect will put his US Title on the line against John Cena in a rematch of their epic contest at SummerSlam, which ended following interference from Jon Stewart.

A victory for Cena would see him draw level with Bret Hart, Chris Benoit and Lex Luger as a five-time US Champion, behind only the legendary six-time champion and 16-time world champion Ric Flair, whose record Cena is also chasing.

Elsewhere on the card, the WWE Tag Team Championship will be up for grabs, with the iconic Dudley Boyz taking on the champions in a bid to win their tenth title in the WWE, just a month after returning to the organisation following a ten-year absence.

They will face either the Prime Time Players or the New Day for the straps, with the champions being in the unlikely position of being underdogs due to the challengers' storied history.

The card will also feature non-title matches, with the long-running feud between Rusev and Dolph Ziggler finally coming to an end, while the Wyatt Family will tackle Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton in a blockbuster six-man match that looks set to steal the show.

With the Intercontinental Championship and WWE Divas title also up for grabs, Night of Champions 2015 looks set to be an epic event, when it takes place at 1am on the night of Sunday September 20th, live on Sky Box Office.
