England rugby fans may still be feeling the disappointment of their team's hapless exit from the Rugby World Cup, but the start of the new Aviva Premiership season could soften the blow, with a mouthwatering trio of games set to be screened free on BT Sports Showcase.
Four of last year's play-off sides will take centre stage, with the first game kicking off on Friday October 16th, with newly promoted Worcester Warriors hosting Northampton Saints - the latter aiming for a good start in their bid for domestic and European glory.
The Saints are in the spotlight again on November 7th, when they travel to Franklin's Gardens for what will be a hard-hitting match with Saracens.
The final game on BT Sport Showcase in the opening six weeks will see title challengers Leicester Tigers take on Bath on November 29th.
Premiership Rugby's Commercial Director Dominic Hayes said: “This is a big day for English club rugby.
"To see a selection of live Aviva Premiership Rugby matches on a free to air channel provides a fantastic shop window for the most compelling league in the world.”
BT Showcase is available on Freeview channel 59, while BT Sport subscribers will be able to enjoy another 69 games throughout the season.
