Chelsea's visit to Manchester United is the pick of the BT Sport's Premier League programme for December.

Louis van Gaal's side entertain the champions on December 28th and will hope to improve on a 1-1 draw recorded at Old Trafford last season.

The two sides have gained a reputation for being two of the best in the Premier League due to their past successes, and this latest mammoth clash is the arguably the highlight of a packed festive line-up.

December kicks off with Manchester City's visit to Stoke, while the following week sees Norwich City host Everton.

A Boxing Day double header sees Newcastle take on Everton before attention turns to St Mary's, where Southampton play Arsenal.  

BT Sport's Premier League coverage ends the year with Leicester City's evening contest with Manchester City, while Liverpool's visit to West Ham on January 2nd is penciled in as the first live fixture of 2016.

Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said: "Once again we will be treating BT Sport fans to a feast of football. We will be showing top quality football with title challengers and UEFA Champions League contenders playing throughout and against each other."

The broadcasted has confirmed it is to show a selection of live games on BT Sport Ultra HD, which claims to offer picture quality four-times sharper than regular HD.
