According to ISPreview, the price of its Broadband Premium package will rise to £8 a month thereafter, although there could be further rises in the pipeline.

Along with unlimited broadband, the bundle also includes free UK weekend calls, a free wireless router, free security software and five email addresses, all on an 18-month contract.

New subscribers will have to take phone line rental from £15 a month, although that price can be reduced to the equivalent of £12 a month through the pre-paid Line Rental Saver option.

The new offer comes just ahead of new price rises from the Post Office for its line rental, which will increase to £16 a month.

That hike is due to take effect from November 9th.
