Virgin Media has refreshed its line-up of broadband bundles ahead of the new year, although customers are still facing a hike in line rental.
Customers signing up to any of the company's broadband bundles will now have to pay £17.99 a month in line rental.
But the move, which was initially announced in September, will lose much of its initial sting thanks to discounts on some of its most popular deals, on offer between November 24th and December 21st.
In terms of its most basic deals, customers can sign up to Virgin's 50MB Broadband and phone dual bundle for £6.99 a month, with the 100+MB package coming in at £9.99 (not including the increased line rental).
At the other end of the spectrum, customers can sign up to Big Kahuna Sports and Movie package at £46.25 a month, with the Big Kahuna 200MB coming in at £29.
There are also discounts on several other popular packages, including Big Easy (from £14.99) and Big Fun (£24.99) - the latter being the company's latest triple bundle.
