Plusnet news

Plusnet has announced it has kicked off the new year by offering £50 cashback on its free 12-month unlimited broadband package.

The offer, which is open to new subscribers, will be available until January 26th and is subject to the provider’s line rental of £16.99 per month or the monthly equivalent of £15.49 when prepaid a year in advance.

The price of the deal will increase to £9.99 a month (plus line rental) after the initial 12-month period.

As well as an unlimited 17Mbps connection, customers will also receive a free wireless router, free activation, McAfee Internet security and built-in parental controls.

According to ISPreview, customers should note that a small portion of the UK, which mainly includes premises where BT is the primary infrastructure provider, is not covered by Plusnet’s “low cost area“, which means the monthly broadband price could jump from £9.99 to a staggering £17.49 per month.
