Sky customers have been given a fascinating insight into the development of its new next generation TV service Sky Q.
The organisation has released a behind the scenes video outlining all the work that went into creating the service and taking it from the drawing board to TV sets across the country.
Key figures in its development including Director of Product Planning and Design Andrew Olson and Chief Marketing and Digital Officer Stephen van Rooyen share their insights, while viewers can also get a peek at brainstorming sessions where ideas are being thrown around.
Sky believes that Sky Q offers the best TV experience in the world, as it offers so-called Fluid Viewing - the ability to pause a programme in one room and pick up from the same point on another device in another room.
Users of the service will be able to take their recordings with them wherever they are, to make their viewing experience even more flexible.
Commenting on the response so far, Sky said: "We’ve seen real excitement from customers who can’t wait to get their hands on the product and an incredible reaction from journalists."
