sky kids app invite

Sky is to unveil details of its plans to launch a Kids app at the end of this month.

The company has surely identified its service for children as a priority since a large proportion of customers for its Sky Q product are likely to be families.

The major selling point of Sky Q is 'Fluid Viewing' - the ability to pause a programme in one room and pick up from the same point on another device in another room.

Users of the service can also take their recordings with them wherever they are, to make their viewing experience even more flexible.

This coincides with news that VICE Media's new TV channel VICELAND will be able to Sky and Now TV customers from September.
