A new channel - True Crime - is to be launched by Sony on Freeview, Freesat and Sky on March 22nd.

Programmes will include Deadly Women, Crime 360, The Devil You Know and The 9/11 Faker and will lift the lid on all sorts of real-life crimes in recent years.

Kate Marsh, Executive Vice-President of Western Europe at Sony, commented: "True Crime will be a dedicated crime channel, where viewers who are fascinated by true life stories will be able to have everything in one place."

She added that the channel will build on the success of its Freeview channel portfolio, which includes True Entertainment, True Drama, True Movies 1 and True Movies 2.

True Crime will be available on Freeview channel 60, Freesat channel 143 and Sky channel 185.
