Sky has launched its new Now TV Smart Box and Now TV Combo bundle, with prices starting at £9.99 per month.

The package offers customers the ability to pick and choose from a range of different television channels, as well as three tiers of broadband and calls options in a contract-free offering.

The entry-level £9.99 package offers access to the Entertainment Pass - including channels such as Sky Atlantic and Sky 1 - as well as broadband at speeds of up to 17Mbps and a pay-as-you-use calls package. However, the price does not include the required line rental, charged at £17.99 per month.

Customers who want faster broadband can pay more for the Fab Fibre or Super Fibre packages, which offer speeds of up to 38Mbps and 76Mbps respectively. The cheapest Fab Fibre package comes in at £37.98 per month including line rental, rising to £42.98 for Super Fibre.

Adding extra television channel packages, such as Sky Sports or the newly-rebranded Sky Cinema, to the bundle will also result in the price climbing.

The bundles will be available from early July and the prospect of not having to sign up for a minimum-term contract may appeal to customers who are looking for flexibility.

Managing Director of Now TV Gidon Katz said the service is "pushing the boundaries" of entertainment.

"We know people want the freedom and control of a no-strings relationship when it comes to choosing their TV, broadband and call package, so the Now TV Combo is the product and service they deserve," he said.

The launch of the Now TV Combo bundle coincides with the introduction of the new Now TV Smart Box. On sale alongside the existing Now TV Box, this updated offering adds the ability to access live terrestrial channels and pause live TV. As well as being available through the Now TV Combo, the box will be offered for a standalone price of £39.99 when it goes on sale next month.
