BT is offering two broadband packages at a discounted price for 12 months.

The BT Unlimited Broadband & Calls deal offers totally unlimited usage and will cost £5 a month (plus £18.99 line rental).

Subscribers will get broadband speeds of up to 17Mbps, as well as a "super-reliable" Wi-Fi signal and access to five million hotspots.

The package also includes unlimited UK weekend calls and a free BT Reward prepaid card.

Alternatively, consumers could opt for the BT Infinity 2 Unlimited Broadband & Calls package.

This offers unlimited superfast fibre broadband with speeds of up to 76Mbps, for the price of £25 (plus £18.99 line rental).

The 12-month contract also enables subscribers to connect at more than five million Wi-Fi hotspots and includes weekend calls.
