BT Sport is to show two European matches involving English sides on its Freeview channel BT Sport Showcase.
Manchester City will face off against Barcelona at 7:45pm on Wednesday October 19th in the Uefa Champions League.
The game, which sees City manager Pep Guardiola return to his former club, can be viewed free of charge on Freeview channel 59, as well as Sky (414), Virgin (100/548) and btsport.com.
BT Sport Showcase will then show Manchester United's Uefa Europa League match against Fenerbahçe on Thursday October 20th, which kicks off at 8:05pm.
Simon Green, Head of BT Sport, commented: "We want as many people as possible to experience BT Sport’s coverage of the Uefa Champions League and Uefa Europa League, with some of the best players in the world on show.
"That’s why we’re making these two games available to watch for free on TV and online.”
BT Sport plans to show at least 12 Uefa Champions League matches on BT Sport Showcase throughout the 2016-17 season, along with 14 Uefa Europa League ties.
The provider currently holds the rights to exclusive live coverage of all 351 games in both competitions.
BT Sport recently announced its festive football schedule, with 12 top-flight fixtures to be shown over the Christmas and New Year period.
Liverpool's Premier League clash against Manchester City on New Year's Eve looks set to be a standout fixture, along with a London derby between West Ham and Arsenal on December 3rd.
Manchester City fans can also see their team face off against defending champions Leicester City on December 10th, while the Foxes will host Chelsea on January 14th.
