Sky has launched a new free service to enhance the experience of football fans at Sky Sports Wi-Fi pubs.

Video clips of action from every Premier League fixture, including those not shown on Sky Sports, will be available to punters through a new mobile app.

The Sky Sports Football Score Centre will feature key moments and goals, with action from Saturday 3pm fixtures being viewable from 5.15pm.

Pub-goers simply need to connect to the venue's Wi-Fi and download the app to their device free of charge via a link on the Sky Sports homepage.

Access to video clips had previously only been available to Sky Sports residential subscribers, but the provider believes extending it to Sky Sports Wi-Fi pubs will give fans more reasons to visit these establishments.

Furthermore, it said the changes will give landlords "yet more value from their Sky Sports subscription and a service that no other broadcaster can offer".

David Rey, Managing Director of Sky Business, commented: "This is great news for landlords.

"At Sky we pride ourselves on helping sports venues create the best possible atmosphere for their customers and this new service is one more way for them to do that.

"Football fans need look no further than Sky Sports Wi-Fi pubs for all the Premier League action."

An added bonus of the app is that it will be available to anyone in a Sky Sports Wi-Fi venue regardless of whether or not they have a Sky Sports subscription at home.
