Sky Sports customers with a Sky Q box will be able to watch every race of the forthcoming 2017 Formula 1 season in Ultra HD.

The season gets underway in Melbourne, Australia on Sunday March 26th and all races will be shown on Sky's dedicated Sky Sports F1 channel.

Sky is the only provider to have broadcast rights for every race, and qualifying and practice sessions will also be broadcast live. Furthermore, Sky Q customers will get additional features to enhance their viewing experience.

As well as being able to watch the action in Ultra HD - which offers up to four times the definition of standard HD -  they will also have access to a unique split screen viewing feature. This lets them watch replays, highlights and alternative camera angles, without taking their eyes off the live action.

Sunday's race begins at 6am BST, as constructors look to close the gap on Mercedes. Last season Mercedes clinched the top two places in the World Drivers' Championship, with Nico Rosberg seeing off Lewis Hamilton. This season we are guaranteed a new champion, as Rosberg opted to retire following his victory.
