sky q review 4

Sky Q users will soon be able to record six channels and watch a seventh at the same time.

The new feature is to be introduced in the summer and is one of several enhancements currently being rolled out to its next-generation TV service.

For instance, Sky has recently added new personalisation features, along with a voice search function.

Luke Bradley-Jones, Sky’s brand director of TV and content products, commented: "May the force be with you with your new voice search. Just ask Sky Q to 'show me the money' by pressing the side of the touch remote, making it even easier and faster to find, discover and watch the TV you love."

Sky Q could also become a more tempting proposition to sports fans, after Sky Sports confirmed this week coverage of England's Test Series with South Africa will be shown in Ultra HD.

In its latest trading statement, Sky confirmed that Sky Q is now in more than one million customer homes, which it has hailed as a "landmark" for the service.
