Openreach has unveiled price details for its 160Mbps and 330Mbps Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP)-based broadband services.

From September this year, the connection price for the 160Mbps connections will be £92, while monthly FTTP Transition Rental costs will be £12.75.

Monthly FTTP Data Rental will be £21.14 and monthly FTTP Data + Fibre Voice Access Rental costs £21.39.

The connection price for the 330Mbps service is the same at £92. However, the monthly FTTP Transition Rental costs will be slightly higher at £29.61.

Meanwhile, monthly FTTP Data Rental will be £38.00 and monthly FTTP Data + Fibre Voice Access Rental costs £38.25.

Openreach commented: "As usual these are the costs that Openreach charges ISPs, which come before providers have added their own costs for service delivery, VAT (20 per cent), profit margins, data capacity and other bits in order to create the product you buy."

"We’d suggest reading the earlier G.fast article as our analysis would be broadly the same for those above."
