BT is to include the Smart Hub in in its business broadband packages.

Business customers previously received the HomeHub 5 device, while the Smart Hub has been offered to residential subscribers for the last year.

The Smart Hub offers what BT has widely billed as "the UK's most powerful Wi-Fi signal" and supports integrated ADSL2+ ad VDSL2.

Speaking at the time of the device's launch last year, Pete Oliver of BT said the Smart Hub enables customers to "enjoy Wi-Fi in more places", as they want "a quality connection throughout their homes".

"It’s packed with the latest Wi-Fi technology and is the only router from a major UK broadband provider to offer seven antennas which offer unbeatable Wi-Fi range," he commented.

This comes shortly after the BT Sport app was added to the provider's business broadband packages, which means business customers can view sport on their smartphone and tablet.
