Vodafone is working to restore broadband services after hundreds of customers reported an outage.

The loss of service occurred at about 5pm on Sunday 24th September and the issue is yet to be resolved.

Vodafone has confirmed it is aiming to get this resolved as soon as possible, but customers have turned to social media to state they have no idea when this will be.

"We don't have a timescale to give currently, but we're on the case and will get things running as soon as possible," Vodafone said.

This comes after the company confirmed that it attracted 29,000 new broadband subscribers between April and June 2017, taking its overall number of broadband customers in Britain up to 245,000.

Vodafone has also pledged to invest a further £2 billion in its network and services over the next three years.
