NOW TV is to roll out downloads to its mobile app in the next few months.
Kids content is to be available for download in spring, followed by entertainment and cinema in the summer.
This will then be followed by the option of streaming NOW TV both live and on demand in full HD before the end of the year.
NOW TV has also confirmed that it will start offering a standalone contract-free broadband service, without the need to bundle it with a NOW TV pass.
Three speeds will be available - Brilliant Broadband (up to 17Mbps), Fab Fibre (up to 38Mbps) and Super Fibre (up to 76Mbps).
This will launch in the coming weeks, with prices starting from £18, along with a one-off set-up fee of £16 and a postage handling fee of £9.99.
News of NOW TV's product updates coincides with the announcement of the launch of its new Smart Stick.
Priced at £14.99, the streaming stick comes with voice search technology and allows users to pause live TV on all of NOW TV's premium channels.
Gidon Katz, Managing Director of NOW TV, commented: "If you’re looking for a flexible way to stream great TV, contract-free, our plug-and-play NOW TV Smart Stick is the cheapest in the UK.
"Just add one of our content passes to stream premium live sports, binge over 300 Box Sets, watch a new movie premiere every day, or keep the family entertained with thousands of kids' episodes."
