NOW TV has confirmed that its new Smart Stick will be available to buy through major retailers from tomorrow (February 23rd).
The gadget, which will retail at a price of £14.99, will then be available directly from the NOW TV website from next Monday (February 26th).
The device has been billed as the UK's cheapest streaming stick and offers an easy way to access entertainment, movies and live sports, as well as catch-up services including BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub and All 4, and more than 50 apps including YouTube.
It is much smaller than the NOW TV Smart Box and plugs into the HDMI socket of the customer's TV out of sight, thereby turning a standard television into a Smart TV.
A range of Stick and pass bundles are available, including a two-month NOW TV Entertainment pass for £19.99.
This lets customers watch 11 of the best pay TV channels and more than 300 "binge-worthy" Box Sets.
Another option is the one-month Sky Cinema pass, which costs £19.99 and offers access to over 1,000 movies on demand.
Furthermore, the one-month Sky Sports pass costs £29.99 and lets users view the biggest live matches and events on ten Sky Sports channels. "The portable plug-and-play NOW TV Smart Stick is an easy way to get the best pay-TV entertainment, the latest movies and exclusive live sports on your telly," NOW TV said.
The device also includes a Voice Search function and Live Pause on NOW TV's premium channels, which means viewers of channels such as Sky Atlantic and Comedy Central don't have to miss any of their favourite shows if they need to step out of the room.
NOW TV added that the Smart Stick offers "unbeatable value for money".
