TalkTalk is cutting the prices of its Faster Fibre Broadband and Fast Broadband packages by more than 30 per cent.

The provider is billing this as its "best ever totally unlimited fibre deal", as it can save customers up to £171 when compared with similar offers from BT, Sky and Virgin Media.

From February 23rd until March 28th, the Faster Fibre package will be reduced from £33.50 a month to £22.50 a month, with no set-up fees.

This 12-month contract offers broadband speeds of up to 38Mbps, which TalkTalk says is up to four times faster than standard broadband.

Subscribers will receive a free Super Router and also have the option of adding flexible landline calls and TV boosts.

A fixed-price guarantee will apply, which means broadband prices will not increase throughout the duration of a contract.

According to TalkTalk, the discount allows subscribers to save £171.87 when compared with similar packages from BT, and £98 and £89.95 against Virgin Media and Sky respectively.

Meanwhile, the Fast Broadband option has been reduced from £27 a month to £18.95 a month.

This 12-month contract offers broadband speeds of up to 17Mbps, along with no set-up fees, a free Super Router and the option of adding flexible landline calls and TV boosts.

A fixed-price guarantee will also be in place on this offer, therefore ensuring no bill shocks for subscribers over the 12 months of the contract.

TalkTalk states that this discount is worth £92.47 when compared with a similar contract from BT, and £140.60 when compared with Virgin Media and £22.55 against Sky.

The provider added that these deals are available to both new and existing customers.
