BT has launched new broadband packages designed specifically with students in mind.
Each option comes with a nine-month contract term, in recognition of the fact that students do not live in their university accommodation all year round.
The packages also include wireless rental, unlimited usage, security controls and access to BT's public Wi-Fi hotspots.
The lowest-priced option is the Broadband Unlimited Student package, which offers average download speeds of 10Mbps and costs £25 a month for nine months, plus a £20 one-off set-up fee.
Another good option for students could be the Superfast Fibre Unlimited Student deal.
This package boasts an average download speed of 50Mbps and costs £35 a month for nine months, along with a one-off £44.99 set-up charge.
Alternatively, students can receive average download speeds of 67Mbps with the Superfast Fibre 2 Unlimited Student deal.
This costs £40 a month for nine months, as well as a one-off set-up fee of £44.99.
