Virgin Media's broadband customer base continued to grow between April and June 2018.
According to its latest trading statement, the company attracted an extra 30,000 broadband subscribers during Q2.
This is comparable to the increase seen in the previous quarter, when the figure rose by 31,200, meaning Virgin Media now has a total of 5,166,500 broadband subscribers.
The company also reported that demand for higher speeds from broadband customers has been strong in recent months.
Indeed, 76 per cent of subscribers were signed up to speeds of at least 100Mbps by the end of June 2018.
Meanwhile, figures showed that 61 per cent are now using the company's best-in-class Hub 3 Wi-Fi router.
This comes shortly after Virgin Media was named as one of the best performers in Ofcom's customer complaints data.
According to the regulator, the provider was the subject of just 12 complaints per 100,000 subscribers between January and March this year, whereas the industry average was 16 complaints per 100,000 subscribers.
