Relish claims its major selling point is that it frees customers from the so-called 'landline tax' by allowing them to use super-fast 4G mobile broadband for home broadband in place of a more conventional ADSL or fibre residential broadband connection.

All Relish home broadband customers require the Indoor Hub, which is priced £50 on one-month contracts or is provided free on 12-month deals.

The Indoor Hub is capable of connecting up to 25 devices simultaneously and is 'plug and play', so can easily be repositioned if required.

It also features two network ports for wired connections and features the wireless 'n' standard for a stable and fast connection.

Relish mobile broadband customers access their on-the-go service through the Pocket Hub.

This is a Mi-Fi unit that allows users to connect up to ten 4G-capable devices simultaneously.

Software features

Relish's chief advantage over standard home broadband providers is that its 4G service frees you from having to pay a monthly charge for your landline. That could mean significant savings every month.

Relish's other major benefits are that customers don't have to sign up for long contracts and that the service is quick and easy set-up.

Its service, which is only available in select locations, is probably most suited to consumers who don't make many calls on their existing landline.
