Tesco Bank credit cards

Launched in 1997, Tesco Bank is the UK’s largest supermarket financial provider and supplies the Tesco credit card.

Tesco Bank is wholly owned by Tesco PLC and has over 7 million customer accounts. Their credit card customers spend an average total of £1bn per month, racking up plenty of Clubcard points in the process.

Tesco Bank offers a wide range of credit cards to suit all needs, including shopping cards, balance transfer cards, and the premium and foundation cards.

Many of their credit cards come with the “Clubcard” loyalty scheme, which rewards customers with Clubcard points after every purchase. These points can then be exchanged for vouchers or offers to be spent in Tesco or at other selected retailers, making the Tesco Clubard credit card a popular choice.

Tesco Bank credit cards offer a range of benefits to customers, with 0% interest on purchases being one of their main offers. Cardholders who keep up to date with payments during the 0% period enjoy no interest charges, allowing them to easily spread the cost of their purchases without paying anything extra.

If you’re looking for a card to pay off old debt and not for shopping, Tesco’s 0% balance transfer fee card allows you to transfer a balance from an old credit card for no additional fees and pay it off with no additional interest during the 0% period.

For those who are looking for rewards and offers, the Tesco Bank Premium Card is worth considering. The premium credit card option allows customers to earn rewards and money back on any card purchases that they make. New customers can take advantage of various welcome offers, which change from time to time and can also enjoy annual worldwide Tesco Bank Travel Insurance for their family.

Tesco Bank also offer a Foundation card, which is designed for those with bad, poor or no credit rating in order to help them rebuild or begin building up a credit history. Their Low APR card is also available, although this is aimed at people with a good credit history.

As well as Tesco credit cards, Tesco Bank also offers insurance, personal loans, and savings accounts.
