Good Energy has posted a three-quarters rise in profits for the first half of the year.
There was also a significant jump in the number of Feed-in Tariff (FiT) customers from almost 37,000, to more than 39,000 – 14% of the FiT market. FiTs is the government’s scheme that pays customers for generating their own renewable energy.
Good Energy is the only company to supply 100% of its electricity from renewable sources generated by wind, small-scale hydro and solar power generators located across Britain. The graph below shows how they compare to other suppliers:
