The iPhone 6s 16GB features the same 4.7 inch retina display as the iPhone 6, and has much the same exterior design. However, much of the hardware inside the iPhone 6s is new and improved, with a better camera and a faster processor.
Many of the core technologies have also been updated too, such as the vibration engine and the touch screen. The latter now lets you interact with your handset in brand new ways, thanks to brand new 3D Touch feature which enables sensors in the phone to recognise taps, pressure and a range of new shortcut gestures.
To keep the phone looking new, the iPhone 6s has been constructed from a 7000 series aluminium alloy, which is considerably stronger than the 6000 series used in previous models. Apple has also given the iPhone 6s stronger glass, meaning that this model is less prone to cracked screens.
Long-established iPhone features such as Siri are available on the iPhone 6s and many have been updated, with a new second generation Touch ID module making fingerprint detection twice as fast as the other models making for even quicker screen unlocking and logging into private accounts such as personal banking.
The new model is even faster than the older devices, with a new 64-bit A9 processor that is at least 70% faster than the processor in the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, and Wi-Fi speeds have been significantly improved.
