1) Check you're eligible to switch from EE
If you're out of contract with EE, you can switch for no charge whenever you like.
Not sure if you're out of contract? To find out, you can call 150 from your EE phone to speak to customer support. Or on 07953 966 250 from any other phone (standard network charges apply).
Opening hours are 8am-8pm Monday-Friday. 8am-6pm at weekends.
Don't fancy phoning? Log in to your EE account online instead.
Keeping your old phone and signing up for a new SIM-only deal with a new network? Okay, that means there’s a chance you may need to get your phone unlocked.
The good news is that this is very simple. Just head to EE’s site where you’ll find a form to fill in to unlock your smartphone.
Once that’s done, they’ll provide you with a personal unlocking key (PUK) that you can use to unlock your handset.
And if you’re interested in switching but want a bit more information first, text INFO to 85075.
2) Contact EE to cancel your contract and get your PAC code
Once you’ve signed up for the deal you’ve chosen, just text PAC to 65075 to get your PAC code. It’s this short, alphanumeric code that will enable you to transfer your existing phone number to the network you want to join.
If you'd prefer to speak to somebody, just give EE a call, tell them you'd like to leave and request your PAC code.
EE is bound by law to provide a PAC Code within two hours of you asking for it.
