Sanyo has updated its Katana Eclipse handset with the addition of its patented One Click application, it has been announced.
The new Sanyo Katana Eclipse X utilises the feature so that owners can set up their phone to enable them to access their most used applications with a single touch.
Also offered by the handset is 3G and Bluetooth connectivity for fast web browsing and easy synching with your PC.
A statement from Sanyo read: “One Click allows a user to access Google on a home screen and take advantage of the ultra-fast speed of the Now Network to search the Internet and access other Google services in just one step.
“Customers can use One Click to add shortcuts to their favourite Internet sites so they can be accessed directly from a home screen.”
Other features housed within the mobile phone include a speakerphone, 1.3 megapixel camera and an MP3 player, with specially designated controls meaning that this can be operated without opening the handset.
The clamshell handset is named after a Samurai’s sword of choice and is available in black and pink.
It is available in the US on the Sprint network.
