Samsung’s Tocco Ultra Edition has seen the Korean giant’s huge-selling Tocco handset fitted with an optional keypad, it has emerged.
The phone will still feature the touchsceen that uses haptic feedback but this will now be augmented with a 3X4 keypad that slides out when required.
Other specifications that have been confirmed by Samsung include an eight megapixel camera with LED flash and smile shot mode and 16GB of memory.
There is also a GPS navigation system, a media player, Bluetooth and faster downloads through HSDPA compatibility.
Samsung is expected to officially unveil the Tocco Ultra Edition at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month, as the industry gears up for what promises to be a challenging year.
UK consumers are expected to be able to get their hands on the Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition in March.
As yet, however, neither price points or networks which will be carrying the phone have been confirmed.
