LG is to expand its GM range of mobile phones this year with the launch of three new handsets, as it looks to grab a larger share of the market for music-focused mobiles.
In February, the North Korean giant confirmed that the LG GM310 would be given a European release at some stage in 2009.
Now the company has announced two more GM handsets, the GM210 and the GM205, both of which will also hit the shelves this year.
All three of the LG GM mobile phones will team Dolby Mobile technology with LG’s own Sound Engine - a move intended to improve sound quality on its phones and allow them to compete better with Sony Ericsson Walkman handsets and Nokia’s Xpress Music range.
According to the Ubergizmo website, the LG GM210 will be a slider handset, whilst the GM205 will feature a traditional candybar form factor. Onboard memory of the handsets is 4GB and 2GB respectively.
