iPhone 3G S buyers can beat lengthy opening day queues by pre-ordering their handset now through Top 10 Mobile Phones.
Network carrier O2 has confirmed to Tech Radar that it will not be taking any advance orders – meaning that buyers can expect long waits at O2 outlets on the opening day as Apple acolytes descend on the stores en masse.
However, Top 10 Mobile Phones is offering the chance to avoid the stampede by pre-ordering now, with the handset dispatched on the launch date of June 19th to arrive at customers’ homes the next day.
Following months of speculation online, specifications for the new iPhone 3G S emerged at the Apple Developers Conference this week.
Addressing attendees, Scott Forstall, senior vice president of iPhone software, revealed that the new mobile phone is to house a 3.2 megapixel camera with video recording, GPS with digital compass and HSDPA support for fast downloads.
Buyers will be able to choose between a 16GB and 32GB edition, both of which will be available in black and white.
