According to Orange, the app can do everything from fill you in on the line-up and changes to showtimes. And it’ll even let you input your agenda and create a timetable so that you need not miss anyone you’re hoping to see.
Better still, it seems that competitions will be operated through the app, with participants tasked with locating a bull icon that will appear sporadically on their screen. The lucky winners can get themselves a coveted place on stage right from which to watch the bands.
You can download the app for free from Orange's site. Still, call us hard to please, but there’s some uses we think would have made the app even better. Surely, there’s a way of harnessing the GPS so that your phone alerts you to the presence of infernal hippy drummers and indie Westwood Zane Low? Getting assailed by either of those poxes on mankind is far more likely to ruin your festival than missing Blur on the main stage.
