The Nokia 6760 Slide
mobile phone is now not expected to go on sale during October, it has emerged.
Previously, the handset was predicted to go on sale during the third quarter. However, according to Mobile Today the date has now slipped and the Nokia 6760 will now be delayed until October.
The new mobile phone, which is being sold on its advanced social networking capabilities, is described by Nokia as "ideal for individuals who want to stay connected when they are out and about”.
Other features of the Symbian S60 powered mobile include a 3.2 megapixel camera and a large 2.4-inch display.
Nokia’s key mobile phone launch this year, however, remains the Nokia N97 which is performing impressively in the crowded UK market against rival smartphones such as the iPhone 3G S and the HTC Magic.
The touchscreen operated N97 offers 32GB of internal memory, a five megapixel camera, a full, slide-out Qwerty keyboard.
