A special edition of the Nokia 5800 with advanced route-finding capabilities is due to launch this month.
The phone, which will be dubbed the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition, swaps the music focus of earlier XpressMusic branded editions of the 5800 for navigation-oriented features.
As a result as well as the integrated GPS that featured on the earlier versions, the Navigator Edition of the mobile phone adds lifetime subscriptions to Nokia’s Drive and Walk navigation licenses.
Navigation applications such as Ovi Maps, which offers “high-resolution aerial images, weather service, terrain maps, and 3D landmarks for more than 200 cities", and Lonely Planet are also included.
Other features include a 3.2-inch touchscreen, a 3.2 megapixel camera and HSDPA support for fast web browsing.
The new mobile phone is expected to go on sale in the UK later this month for around £250.
Meanwhile, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is available to buy now on a range of contract deals.
