LG has been showcasing a new budget addition to its Viewty line of mobiles in the form of the camera-focussed LG Viewty GW300.
The new mobile phone has been on display in retailers in France and is notable for a form factor and layout that resemble BlackBerry phones – an impression enhanced by the GW300’s QWERTY keyboard.
According to a report from Tech Radar, the GW300 will also be home to a two megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD card support to allow users to expand storage space by up to 8GB.
LG has yet to confirm a release date for the phone, but it is expected to be launched across Europe at some stage during the fourth quarter of the year.
The South Korean manufacturer’s current flagship cameraphone is the LG Renoir KC910, which packs in an eight megapixel camera and also stands out the array of visual effects that can be applied to photographs direct from the handset.
