Samsung has unveiled a youth-focused new mobile phone with a host of social networking functions and a choice of bright colours.
Dubbed the Samsung Corby S3650, the phone is aimed at "today’s young mobile users" and offers access to all the most popular social networking sites, including Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.
The phone also stands out for an iPhone 3G S style contoured form factor and touchscreen, as well as a strikingly bold set of colour options, such as Festival Orange, Jamaican Yellow and Cupid Pink.
A statement from the mobile manufacturer read: “The Samsung Corby, available across Europe later this month, is a full-touch handset that places users at the center of the social media revolution with a wide range of social networks support, such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.
“The new mobile complements the company’s touch screen strategy, ‘touch for every lifestyle’, by targeting the youth market.”
Other features of the handset include quad band connectivity and support for EDGE networks.
UK consumers will be able to get their hands on the Samsung Corby S3650 from mid-September.
