The Nokia 6700 Classic
Gold Edition is a brand new take on the already stylish original and now sports a new gold casing and various software-based exclusives to attract those who enjoy a display of wealth.
The 6700 Classic Gold Edition is expected to retail for around £335 and the majority of this money will go towards covering the cost of the 18-carat gold shell which covers the majority of the exterior, including the battery cover and the keypad.
The retail package for the phone also includes a leather protective sleeve and an 8GB microSD memory card. Various unique wallpapers which match the golden styling will be preinstalled on the 6700 Classic Gold Edition.
The technical specifications of the new version are identical to the original, with a five megapixel camera mounted on the rear, built in GPS navigation and Nokia Maps.
The 6700 Classic Gold Edition is also exactly the same size and shape as the original, although the metal is likely to make the whole handset a little heavier to hold.
