Everyone will have experienced the dread upon realising that they cannot find their mobile phones. Thousands of phones are lost accidentally each year and never recovered, but a new accessory is hoping to change all that.
ZOMM is a device that alerts phone owners when they have moved a certain distance from their mobile phones, so that leaving them in a public place for too long is no longer possible.
It is being marketed as the first ever wireless leash for mobile phones and it is being shown as attachable to a key ring in promotional photos. In addition to allowing you to keep track of your mobile, it will also act as a portable speakerphone and will presumable rely on Bluetooth technology to enable its main functions.
ZOMM will be unveiled in full at CES 2010, so more details should emerge in the future. All you have to do now is make sure that if you do forget your phone, you don't forget your keys.
